Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaYes, but you did bring her up twice recently. Something must still be going on in your mind. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12977 20140220 11:23:07
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI have just been in a dry spell for a while now, and my mind seems to be drifting back to previous girls. Is this normal in a dry spell? #12978 20140220 12:10:29
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaGuys do it, I do not think girls do. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12979 20140221 00:35:20#12980 20140221 00:37:59
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaIs she around? I can only say that the ones I remember the strongest are the ones that I did not give a chance to for various reasons. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12981 20140221 04:56:24
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI stopped talking to H in November I still do not regret rejecting her, because she was obsessive and mentally unstable. As for my neighbour, I am fairly sure she is not into me there aren't many signs that she is. (Not that I would have wanted to be with her, anyway.) In late September I will have new neighbours though, so maybe a new opportunity will arise in just over 7 months from now. #12982 20140221 04:58:43
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaIf you can wait then wait but it does not pay to wait for Ms Perfect. She does not exist. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12983 20140221 05:08:33
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI am not waiting for a Ms. Perfect. I am just waiting for someone who is not mentally unstable (H) or is totally unwilling to do anything apart from playing games on Facebook (my neighbour). I'm prepared to wait, although as women get older they seem to be even more difficult to get, as evidenced by my failures since joining uni. #12984 20140221 05:31:30
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThat girl was being rude but it is typical of what is out there. There again, what are you after? Casual intimacy? Well, you do not have to find anything but a living breathing body. Long term relationship? Dating material? So far only your neighbor is a possibility out of all the girls you have talked about. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12985 20140223 00:03:20
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI'm not sure what I'm after, if anything at all. I don't even know if I'm cut out for the whole dating thing. It seems like such a long, tedious power game. #12986 20140223 00:43:39
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaIs she going to stay there? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12987 20140223 01:03:12
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaYes, she wants to get a job in the US. And probably live with her parents again considering her diet... #12988 20140223 01:11:54
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaSo, what is wrong with a couple of dates before she goes? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12989 20140223 01:14:58
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI don't click with her at all. It's incredibly hard to make conversation with her; maths is weird, cooking is weird, boys are weird, going outside is weird, exercise is weird, ... I am trying to find something I like about her but I am having a hard time. #12990 20140223 01:16:36
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThat is a lot of weird! How about intimacy? Does she find that weird too? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12991 20140223 01:20:47
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaYeah, probably. Everyone else in my halls thinks she's a bit strange, too. #12992 20140223 01:26:32
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaForget what everyone else thinks. Everyone else is usually wrong. Have you ever asked her? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12993 20140223 01:33:35
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaWell, when I've brought up some casual jokes about it, she usually laughs, doesn't react negatively, so she might not be prudish. I'll ask her about it later, if I see her in the 5 minutes she spends out of her room each day. #12994 20140223 01:34:33
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaA typical homebody. That can have advantages. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12995 20140223 01:35:02#12996 20140223 01:39:27
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaYes, a homebody can be someone who finds all that they need very close by. Contrast that to A who has to fly around the planet every month, go to 1100 parties per week and date everybody within 100 miles of her living or dead. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12997 20140224 05:38:03
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI spoke to her a bit yesterday, seems she doesn't like casual intimacy. She dislikes guys who are just after girls for intimacy. #12998 20140224 06:17:27
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThen you can tell her that you are the same way. So what is her problem now? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12999 20140224 06:57:18
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI don't know if I'm the same way. I still do not know what it is I really want. #13000 20140224 07:05:36
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaRemember Trudy, Inger and Helga? It does not pay to burn bridges unless absolutely necessary. Stay friendly and try to increase that. Even if you do not feel anything right now, you might later. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof.
