Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Okay, I will ask her when I am alone with her next time.

I feel sorry for her, her diet is terrible, I cannot see how she is surviving. She is eating sandwiches and takeaways she buys from outside literally every day. I almost feel like making her dinner so she doesn't have to eat a nasty egg and cress sandwich she bought from the supermarket.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Yecch to eggs!

You already did it once so why should it not work again?

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I didn't think to offer her it unfortunately. She came in the kitchen today with the empty sandwich box. I made something very simple -- chicken breasts wrapped in parma ham and cheese, with salmon tikka. If I find out what kind of food she likes, I can make that for her. But unfortunately she doesn't seem to know what she likes!

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

They never do. Next time offer her some.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Do you think it would be a bad idea to suggest to her that she could regularly eat with me for dinner?

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

You could do that but it might be better to suggest that after a few times. Also, you are now putting yourself in the position of being "Food Guy!" You know what that means.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Well, Food Guy and Homework Guy are both providing a useful and necessary service. She will realize this.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I got into her room about 9 days ago, but I just sat on her bed while she played games on her computer. Was a bit boring, to be honest. I'm not really that into her...

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Hmmm, then you should leave her be. But you will have to stick with that decision and never change it.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Hmm, okay, I will try.

I had made paella yesterday, I was about to knock on her door to ask her to come eat with me -- then decided not to.

Perfectly okay to that but there is just one drawback.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I don't know, she just seems so awkward, kind of like H except not as freaky as her. There is no point asking about her day, because she will always say that she 'did nothing', seems to have no interests outside of playing games on Facebook, and is pretty awkward to talk to. In fact, whenever there is an awkward silence, she would actually say "haha! Awkward silence!".

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

That is an attempt to break the awkward silence! She is there at the university so she must have some interests other than facebook.

Is she not the only possibility you have right now? Remember Trudy, Inger and Helga! Can you really afford to throw some of the fish back into the sea?

You might be getting yourself into the trap of setting your sights too high. People ain't perfect and they are not supposed to be. If you wait for Ms. Perfect you might have to wait decades for her and then how do you know she is going to like you? She might be looking for Mr. Perfectly Amazing.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

She loves psychology but hates maths. I think she likes watching some American TV dramas and playing Facebook games, can't think of anything else.

Yes, she is the only "possibility", if you can call it one.

I don't know about that, my standards have already dropped dramatically since beginning this thread. But that doesn't mean I will settle for near-nothing -- I have waited a while and it couldn't hurt to wait some more, it will not kill me.

I still talk to her as I do normally, there is just no intention of taking anything further. I am not even sure if she is after me.
