Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaHow big is the class? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12402 20131014 02:44:29
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaUsually consists of around 200 people, I think... you meet someone new every time you go. It can be hard to spot the people you know, actually. #12403 20131014 02:46:46
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThat is a pretty good sized class. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12404 20131014 02:49:20
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI think so. I hate the cramped lecture theatres, though. #12405 20131014 02:52:51
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaDid he ever mention why she will be sorry? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12406 20131014 02:54:25
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaHe didn't although I guess he was going to humiliate her further before deciding it would be better to just kick her out. #12407 20131014 02:56:49
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThe math types that do that type of math are grim faced drones. They have no sense of humor and no tolerance. In short, a strutting egoist. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12408 20131014 03:05:31
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaHe is pretty grimfaced, although he is a very good lecturer from what others have told me. I like that he gives you the historical details during the lecture, and he gets through a lot of content. But I don't think he needs to humiliate people like that, I mean, just tell people to leave. #12409 20131014 03:06:55
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaShe is probably thinking of Ibiza and partying like crazy. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12410 20131014 03:10:54
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI just checked her Facebook. She is at Warwick now, going to some party it seems. I feel that it is not worth trying to talk to her, though. #12411 20131014 03:13:25
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI would agree. What is the point anyway? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12412 20131014 03:15:06
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI don't know, just to have someone to talk to. I kind of miss what it felt like to hug a woman, which was almost a year ago now. #12413 20131014 03:22:09
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaNothing you can do about that now. It is over and done with. They say, "nothing gets you over the last one like the next one." In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12414 20131014 05:07:06#12415 20131014 09:42:05
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThat saying is a good one and does work. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12416 20131014 10:15:21
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI agree with it, too. The wait for the next one is not always pleasant, though. #12417 20131014 10:18:36
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaIf nothing is there then you will have to wait. You never know when something comes along. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12418 20131014 10:20:25
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaSo far M and Katrina have been red herrings. #12419 20131014 10:36:39
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI would agree. Maybe something else will come along. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12420 20131015 03:57:14
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThere is at least a plethora of guys on my course, who make good friends. #12421 20131015 10:00:10
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThat is a reasonable idea. Girls, I am afraid do not make good friends. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12422 20131016 05:26:06
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThat has been true so far... #12423 20131016 12:38:50
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaIt will be true all the way up to marriage. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12424 20131017 02:16:45
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaIt sure looks that way... #12425 20131017 04:22:18
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThat is a difficult question to answer. I always used to ask them that question. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof.
