Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI don't know when that will be, though. I only have what few observations I have made, but they could mean nothing at all. #12127 20130926 02:15:57
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaStay close and more clues will be provided. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12128 20130926 02:19:31
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI only get to see her once a week, for about 15 minutes... #12129 20130926 02:25:09
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThat is more than enough if it is meant to be. Also, you would have to create more opportunities. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12130 20130926 03:11:30
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI have her UCL email, but not her private one. I have her mobile number too. But what if I make a move on her and she reports me or something? #12131 20130926 03:13:01
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaShe reports you for what? What kind of moves do you make? I mean, grabbing her in a headlock and slamming her noggin into a brickwall is certainly out. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12132 20130926 03:17:04
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaInappropriate behaviour towards a UCL mentor? #12133 20130926 03:20:12
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThat is what I mean. Unless you do things like that who is going to report you? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12134 20130926 03:30:57
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI have been trying to take charge. I haven't been flirting, just little things like when she looks my way I make sure to look her in the eyes and hold her gaze (she usually looks at me a little longer when I do that). She couldn't remember some things about integration so I helped her almost like I am her partner in mentoring the group. It's a difficult setting to take charge in though because she is the one taking us on tours, planning the meetings, etc. #12135 20130926 03:37:38
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI mean when she gives you the chance, then you take charge. Holding the gaze is a good sign. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12136 20130926 03:40:22#12137 20130926 03:43:44
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaHmmm, that will be up to her. A flirtatious glance, a chance meeting, being alone for awhile. Could come at any time so be awake. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12138 20130926 03:55:39
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaOf course, if she has a BF, that's when we have a problem. However, she lives with her parents, doesn't like partying or clubbing, seems quite shy and nervous too. I want to get her alone with me but that's difficult. #12139 20130926 03:59:26
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaJust get close. Mentally and physically, as close as you can. Do not push it. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12140 20130926 04:35:29#12141 20130926 04:43:51
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaGo ahead. But face to face will get better results. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12142 20130926 06:29:01
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaIt's really my only form of contact I have with her apart from meeting with her once per week... unfortunately I have no idea what to say to her if I'm emailing her. #12143 20130926 06:31:52
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaIs she attractive? Do you like her? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12144 20130926 06:42:03
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI think she's attractive, don't know if I like her though. #12145 20130926 07:40:13
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThen maybe you should wait until you are sure or wait for her to do something to make you like her. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12146 20130927 02:59:17
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaIt's mostly based on looks so far although there are a few things I do like about her that aren't so superficial. #12147 20130927 03:01:26
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaPappym used to say, "he who hestitates is lost." In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12148 20130928 03:48:59#12149 20130928 05:51:09
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaIf you do like her then waiting is useless. At around #12145 it was not clear whether you did like her. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #12150 20130928 06:02:31
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI don't know if I like her. I was kind of annoyed that she wasn't going to sell her analysis book for any less than £45 (the price she bought it for).
