We've stopped now, it was just about maths, what unis she's applying to, etc. and a comment my chemistry teacher made that maths is just a bunch of assumptions.

My school is not that good, the teachers do not teach it well. They just copy an example from the textbook on to the board and then tell them to do the rest of the exercise.
Another reason I did every maths module possible last year was so I wouldn't have to stand being in a maths class the next year...

It has come to the stage where you are expected to be bad at it. Some people are proud of it! Pathetic maths, won't ever do anything for anybody. Especially when there are more important things to worry about like politics, football and Katie Price. Maths is a non-factor, should be disbanded what a joke.
