Re: Oh,Oh,Oh,merry analysis!!!

Let's see it work first.

6 digits with only 25 terms.

I bet we can do it once more!

Re: Oh,Oh,Oh,merry analysis!!!

6 digits from 12 terms. So what the RRA algorithm has done is come up with a another convergent series that has the same value sum.

Only thing is that this series is about 2 million times faster than the original one and we can use a hand calculator to get a decent value for ln(2).

See you tomorrow and I will work on a nice solution for your integral.

Hi;

Did you understand what happened with the RRA? Did you check to see that I am right?

Re: Oh,Oh,Oh,merry analysis!!!

I don't understand how it rearranged the sequence. Did you take p positive and n negative terms and just figured out p and n?

And which one is that?

Btw,did you try the integral?

Working with the series instead of the integral. But that did not pan out either.

Did you see the first part of my solution? What if we evaluate both integrals?

Re: Oh,Oh,Oh,merry analysis!!!

Hi bobbym

Is there a valid reason to change the limits of integration of the first integral to 1 to 2?h

I think I will accelerate another sequence. That was fun!
