Re: Sequences!

Hi,

That looks random!
Maybe -325, -2340, -7457

Re: Sequences!

Here is another sequence:

1,2,2,2,2,4,4,4,8,8,8,8,8,16,16,16,16,32,32,32...

Find as much about this sequence as you can.

I got 64,64,64,64,64,64,64 for the next seven terms.

Hi bobbym

I am sorry, but that is not correct.

Of course, but it is not the wanted one.

Here are the first 50 terms:

How did you get your answer?

Re: Sequences!

I know that too. I got my answer from a little trick. Now the chance that it coincided with what you wanted was about a billion to one...

Thanks for the extra terms.

Re: Sequences!

Huh, so PSLQ?

I never got it to work on Maxima. The lattice transform is a real pain.

Hi bobbym

Ok, tell me if you get anything.

In the mean time, could you move this thread to Exercises. I don't know what I was thinking when making this thread...
