Re: points with integer distances

Hi gAr;

I would think so. Same should go for a 4D sphere and higher.

Re: points with integer distances

We should have started from n-dimensions and worked backwards!

Why do you think that?

Nothing, I was joking. Bad one.

Hi gAr;

Okay.

When you do math you need a sense of humor. Math on forums doubly so!

Re: points with integer distances

Yes, we need a sense of humor in anything we do, that's the key to happiness.

The quality of the joke is inversely proportional to the quantity of people who understand the joke smile

Maybe, but I have found huge differences in different countries as to what is even called humor.

Re: points with integer distances

Yes, that's true.
I have seen people getting offended by 'jokes' which I felt hilarious. So I control my laughter, and laugh when I'm alone!

Yes.
But again, that's better than talking to nitwits!

There may be a mass migration of them to over here.

There have been some comments about the style of this forum. Other forums are generally much tougher on members.

Oh, okay.
I'm here just because this forum is not like others. I dislike crowd, be it physically or on forums!

Yeah, me too. Many rules and rude people are always a turnoff.

Did you expect this problem to have as many solutions as were found. I really was surprised.

Re: points with integer distances

Even I was surprised.
In fact, I was surprised when you said you found 5 points!
And without geogebra, it would have been a dream to find out that they were on a circle.

Re: points with integer distances

Hi gAr;

I knew that you used geogebra. Makes that type of question easy to answer. I did a lot of playing on that problem with it.

I'm glad that you eventually found a set of points!

Taking a break, see you later.
