Re: Try this personality test.I do not know the extent of it. I only know I miss him. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #77 20131121 16:01:31

Re: Try this personality test. There are many ways to solve equations numerically. The interesting one here is doing x_0=... x_n=3+1/x_n1. It can even be done on a scientific calculator. The limit operator is just an excuse for doing something you know you can't. “It's the subject that nobody knows anything about that we can all talk about!” ― Richard Feynman “Taking a new step, uttering a new word, is what people fear most.” ― Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Crime and Punishment #81 20131121 16:21:10
Re: Try this personality test. What use is the quadratic formula in our daily lives? Can we use it to unlock the secrets in the hearts of those we love? 'And fun? Re: Try this personality test.Yes, the rest I can do Is that correct? Now what? 'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.'
