Re: Expression Formula

Hi SuperLynx;

Describe to me how you think the boolean random command works.

Re: Expression Formula

randBool() function acts like an on/off switch returning a 0 or a 1.

Re: Expression Formula

Hi SuperLynx;

That is correct and very good. Soon you will not require any more help! Now please wait for me to continue with the original question. I believe we are making progress in that direction.I will post it right here as soon as I have something.

What do you get when you try this?

cond((rand_0_1(12)) <.5,Sin(Fc),Fc)

You should see random sine peaks and random straight lines. Adjust your horizontal range so that you can see sine peaks.

Re: Expression Formula

Bobbym - that expression produces a graph that looks like this (http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/4393/expressionpicture.jpg)

Re: Expression Formula

Hi SuperLynx;

What horizontal range are you using? It looks like you are just getting one peak of a sine curve. It does look like your drawing in post# 35.

Re: Expression Formula

Hi Sarah Rebekah 13;

I am happy to help you with any problem you might have. I have moved your problem to:

http://www.mathisfunforum.com/viewtopic … 04#p124604

where i will work with you on it. Please in the future make a new thread for your problems. If you just add them to someone else's thread then I might not see them.

I did make a new thread, this was it.  You mixed my question up with

How to do 3x+2 And 7x-2?

Can you help me with this Equation 14x + | 15/

Which is different then my question. My question doesn't relate to this question !

Nope. If you look at post #108 you will see that was addressed to Sarah. Post #106 is for you.

Oh.

Regarding my post, the Sine Curves are not having flat lines randomly between the Sine curves even in your example.

Re: Expression Formula

Hi SuperLynx;

Please adjust the horizonatal axis until you can see sine curves and send me a picture.
