Re: What do you think?

Brought this problem down to the front.

New problem:

People send in donations of 29 or 31 dollars. At the end of the drive the money is counted. What is the largest amount of money that is not possible to attain considering an unlimited number of donations?

A says) Too easy it is obviously infinity. There will always be an endless supply of numbers that can not be represented.

B says) Not true. There was a rather famous American mathematician named

C says)There goes B again arguing in the face of overwhelming A arguments. I like A's answer.

D says) Ditto!

E says) B is right, can you compute the number B?

B says) Yes, it is

A says) It is infinity of course. How droll! Everyone except B knows that infinity is not a number.

Other people may want to work on it. Your exclamation gives away the answer.

They are called Frobenius numbers and there is no known formulas for 3 or more.

Hi bobbym,

Okay, thanks.
I think there's no solution for that.
