Re: Heatwave!

40 degrees is your hottest day ever?! You should try living here in summer! big_smile Although I did expect it to be a bit hotter in the Pacific Northwest....

Your right not to believe everything you hear on tv. Temperatures here only about 105° F. Usually it is in the 120's. Summers seem to have shifted from july-august to august-september.

Re: Heatwave!

It's cold around here. We had this massive storm a couple of nights ago. MASSIVE. In the early morning there was like 3 inches of hail. I was lying in bed thinking the roof was going to blow off, it was that windy. I was watching the lightning flash at my window. Anyway There's not much warmth here now a days, but they say next summer the bushfires will be worse. And thats bad 'cause we're running out of water.

What architecture? Just a lot of lights in a desert valley.

Thinks like Luxor, "New York" or  that indoor place with the fake sky.

Or perhaps not, by the sound of it sad

Re: Heatwave!

tell me about. Ha! I know you lived there kind of places! Nice place actually. The Government is trying to build a desalination plant in Gippsland a lot of hippy's don't like that idea but I think it's alright. If the Arctic keeps melting, if we don't drink the desalinated sea water, we're all going to get flooded.

Hi Tigeree;

Perhaps you could consider forming your own psychic hotline.

Weather cleared up but is still not normal.

Re: Heatwave!

Well, I don't think I could, see I never know when I'm going to predict something that's true. It just randomly happens. Like, usually I say or think something and it'll happen or someone else will say exactly what I say straight after. De ja vu's are the worst, ya know sometimes they just happen over and over and over again. Literally. The other day I had one that I'd already had 3 times before. Last month I had one that I'd already had 7 times! Seriously sometimes I feel like I'm going to pass out.

Re: Heatwave!

I am freezing here! It's like less than 15 degrees here! But they say this summer's supposed to be worse than last summer. Apparently, they're planning to build refuge shelters in lots of towns, and they reckon that my hometown is going to be the next Marysville, Marysville being the town to burn down completely six months ago.

Re: Heatwave!

Sounds bad, thats the good part about living in the desert. No vegetation to start brush fires let alone forest fires. The decline of our water supply will only kill the people.

Temperature about 110° F. Way too cool for here. Somethings wrong.

Re: Heatwave!

Dude, my converter says thats 43 C! I think I'm going to have to fix that. It's your summer now isn't it?

Btw, sorry I haven't been here for a while there was this big wind storm and things that killed my power, killed power at work, too. Just lucky I saved my scoop to my USB. That wind nearly broke my ariel! & a really big tree branch crushed my mum's garden at her place. *lol*

Re: Heatwave!

Hi Tig;

Don't know what to call it. Pollution here has changed the weather. Summers here are 120° F not 110° F. Sky is overcast, very unusual.
