infinity. Deciamls and fractions should solve your problem. Unless the question wants natural numbers.faint

#177 Re: Help Me ! » Tryin to find the mean of numbers! » 2007-09-05 12:42:30

Well, averages don't exist in real life... especially non-natural numbers. But all the same, averages are very interesting

Yes. If I could get it, I would. This program would make life easier, and it can also be a 2 dimensional simulator. Well, It would be better in 3D though.

exactly, Kid 'Fun' Fact: Day/night at the poles are half an Earth year long.

#181 Re: Dark Discussions at Cafe Infinity » Unbelievably fast mental calculations! » 2007-09-05 12:25:21

more than a calculator, I suppose, but you can't cube root a number in 1 step using a calculator. you can only sqrt it 2 times..... what a waste of time. Does it apply to all numbers?

#182 Re: Jokes » Girls = Evil » 2007-09-05 12:17:00

It isn't, because with Girls = G*i*r*l*s and Time = T*i*m*e and Evil = E*v*i*l, although it may work, there are certain pieces that just don't fit.... why don't say that TievElmi = TimeEvil ? That should apply.

#183 Re: Jokes » I know next week's lottery numbers » 2007-09-05 12:14:14

I was getting to that. Anyway I thought no one would notice the other context, the read 'my mind' and 'your mind' because I don't have a certain speech difficulty.

#184 Re: This is Cool » Microsoft Math 3.0?? » 2007-09-04 14:52:40

I just don't get it. Why does Microsoft want to rule the world with a replica of a scientific calculator? What good would it gain, apart from a short term applause from soon to be ungrateful audience?

whatever it is, I hate soap ads because they try to clean my absolutely lovely and dirty television set.

These... are all nonsensical ideas made up by certain members of this forum using

might as well say that algebra is one of the most flawed concepts ever?

#188 Re: Help Me ! » permutation and combination » 2007-09-03 20:03:07

Ah, yes. Permutation and Combination. An interesting subject. Don't mean to be annoying... Theres a P & C calculator here, right?

#189 Re: Help Me ! » ~Prime Numbers~ URGENT » 2007-09-03 19:59:54

Explore the different functions, there must be one. and this site has a prime number thing to determine if a number is prime.

No, a prime number list:

BUT using the same method, we can prove that algebra cannot prove it is consistent using algebra.... haha!!

#191 Re: Jokes » Stupid signs » 2007-09-01 14:33:53

I'll think about atopping to think.... These are related to paradoxes, aren't they?

#192 Re: Jokes » Girls = Evil » 2007-09-01 14:24:19

algebra can prove anything.

#193 Re: Jokes » I used to think 1 add 1 was 2, but now... » 2007-09-01 00:53:09

well, these things are arguing about things that differ in quantity, not total number...

#194 Re: Puzzles and Games » guess the concept » 2007-09-01 00:27:49

yes, even the curry's paradox quadrilateral one, because if you line the correct angles of the quadrilateral properly, (even the convex ones) it will tesselate. This is because the sum of all the interior angles of a quadrilateral is 360 degrees.

#195 Re: Puzzles and Games » guess the concept » 2007-08-28 23:06:53

tessalations, but only works with regular: triangle, qrudrilateral, hexagon. all triangle and qudrilateral tesselate.

#198 Re: Puzzles and Games » Can you explain this amazing puzzle? » 2007-07-09 23:13:28

actually, the "triangle" is actually a quadrillateral, and the second diagram, ignoring the "missing" square, is a four sided figure, except that one of the angles looks like a straight line. the two triangles are not similar.
