Not a special course, but a sub-classification under math.
Why not re-program the chat so you cannot type the same phrase more than 2 times in 3 minutes?
The reason I failed oral math-couldn't understand the question. Well, not failed, but a 97% is pretty bad.
Okay, could someone explain #1212 to me? I am pretty confused about the carpet width.
The room=18m long
Thats all I really understand about it.
Well dont you still keep a "Comment removed due to_____" when you edit the post? Like GeniusIsBack's?
Well, I would prefer if he made a separate link to the IRC. And well, on the forum I haven't seem that many people who flame/spam.
Well, cant we have an IRC chat with many rule-abiding ops to make sure there is no flaming/spamming?
The forum system is fairly good, but the response rate would be much faster if there was an instant chat. This may have been suggested numerous times before, but...
from scipy import integrate
def myfunc(x, a, b):
return (x**b) + a
args = (1.0, -2.0)
results = integrate.quad(myfunc, 0.5, 1.5, args)
print 'Integral = ', results[0], ' with error = ', results[1]
Considering the fact that this is in the coders corner, you may want some program to do the conversion for you, so I wrote a program in C:
Mathematics and Science-including all their subclassifications: Trigonometry, Calculus, Chemistry, Physics etc.
bobbym, obviously the research was useless.
Also, statement #2 does not seem false. Many problems lead from lack of family socialization, and it is partly due to other entertaining activities such as computers (unless you go there to be educated, in that case its a distraction but a useful one) and television (unless you go there to be educated by watching the NATG, in that case its a distraction but a useful one).
I mean #1209
#1208
Oh wait, there they are.
Wow...
A topic staring with math for the first few pages, then random chat between 2 people for over 28 pages (99 posts per page)...!

What happened to number 1 and 4?
Never mind, only the forum is Mathisfun
Just wondering, isn't the name Math Is Fun?
Okay
anonimnystefy, how is arccos the inverse of arcsin?
Is Biological Immortality actually achievable? Scientist/Futurist Ray Kurzweil believes that it may be possible in the first decades of our current century, mainly by 2025. While others state that immortality will not be achievable, although life extensions would.
Ray states that immortality can be achieved by the use of nano-technology, in which conditions we would be able to swim for 4 hours without breathing even once (that would be helpful with global warming). While there may be ways to make us biologically immortal, we would still die by trauma. By preventing our cells to decay, similar to the somatic cells, we can be immortal. Basically, you may be able to become biologically immortal in 4 ways:
Nano-technology
Brain emulation
Brain transplant by cranioectomy
Finding a way to stop cells from aging
Bezoar is an item found in the gastrointestinal system. In some unusual products it is claimed that they remove toxins from your body (mostly Chinese herbology).
Monkshood, Wolfsbane and Aconite are just misnomers of Aconitum, which is a genus of many flower species.
And finally, no. You cannot create a sleeping potion with those ingredients.
anoni, reversing the phrase makes perfect sense. but how would you know that you have to reverse it?
