ok...

So here we can use 22/7 , but that is not the exact answer?

#127 Re: Help Me ! » Matrices » 2010-03-22 17:00:55

If the RHS is similar to that  1 and 2 ,,,

hw is x=1 and y=0?

#128 Re: Help Me ! » MensuraTION » 2010-03-22 16:56:01

So 22/7 cant be used for pi any where???

In a school day program 60% students participate in dance, 25% in drama and dance. Find the
percentage of students who participate in drama only.

#142 Re: Help Me ! » MensuraTION » 2010-03-21 19:43:14

I used v= pi r^2 h
11000=22/7 × r^2 × 35
r^2=11000/35 × 7/22
r^2= root 100
r=10

if r=10 d=2r
d=20

Am i wrong?

please explain along with the answer

#144 Re: Help Me ! » Speed » 2010-03-21 18:57:46

if we use the equation time=distance/speed , and the speed as x
we get,
first time=240/x

after increaing the speed, time= 240/x+2

240/x - 240/x + 2 = 1/2

I got the answer by this way
Can we solve it by this way ?? Is this method correct??

#145 Re: Help Me ! » Speed » 2010-03-21 03:48:27

I did'nt understand why you multiplied by 2s(s+2),, and the following steps;

Please explain why you did it ??

#147 Re: Help Me ! » Simplify » 2010-03-21 03:07:00

#148 Re: Help Me ! » gp » 2010-03-21 03:01:10

I dont know .. The question is given like this

If the ratio between first three terms and first six terms of GP is 125 : 152. Find the common ratio.

May be that SUM OF must be added... But it is not given in the book..

#149 Re: Help Me ! » HCF And Lcm » 2010-03-21 02:53:04

Even i got that

But i was not sure about it..

Thank you
