In a triangle,a side must be smaller than the sum of other two sides,so the third side will be smaller than 16+21=37,which means there are 36 possible lengths.
Yeah,that's correct.
I'm confused,how can 1 by 3 and 1 by 3 matrices be multiplied?
Thanks,is there any proof without calculus,i'm just curious.
Hi,barbie,agnishom's talking about his avatar.
Agnishom, actually i just randomly assumed you were older.
A isoceles triangle base pyramid's apex is on top of the triangle's top vertex, what is it's volume?is there a formula?how was it derived?

If logic is the first concept, then the first proposition is of logic(even this assumption is made by logic)
I mean, lots of concepts depend on logic,i don't know if logic depends on other concepts
Every concept has a starting proposition,to prove this proposition you cannot use the concept since it doesn't have anything yet, after thinking a bit i saw that these starting propositions are proved using logical methods, that means every concept depends on logic.
So, you are saying these basic concepts are independent?
If someone were to write all the proofs in mathematics(logic, sets, numbers, geometry, groups etc)then what should he write first (as a proof is constructed on other proofs) ? What i mean is what is the absolutely first proof/proposition ?
Thanks
Can piecewise functions be differentiated?for example f(x)=2x for x<2,4 for x=2,x^2 for x>2,can f be differentiated?
Thanks
