#10157 Re: Computer Math » Squares and circles. » 2011-08-19 03:33:00

hi bobbym

i solved this before, and it is very easy.

the radius of the inner circle is a/2 where a is the side of the square.so it's area is A1=pi*a^2/4

the radius of the outer circle is a/sqrt(2).it's area is A2=pi*a^2/2.

yes you are both correct.

#10169 Re: Help Me ! » divisibility of numbers » 2011-08-15 03:05:38

well did you try solving:
a+b=c
a+c=3b
b+c=3a
?
or:
a+b=2c
a+c=2b
b+c=2a
?

hi jozou

i have found an equation which links k,l and m,but i am not sure if it is true:

if you can find any numbers that satisfy this equation than you can probably find a,b and c by solving a system of equations given by the first three equations you posted.
