Hello....Again. I hope im not posting to many questions....I joined this site to learn more about math since im really not good at it.
I have a lot of trouble figuring out how to reflect coordinates of a number.
If you have a number like (6,1) than its mirror image would be (6,-1) right?

Hello!!! I really need help learning about translations. Say you have this problem:
Point M(4,3) is translated according to the rule (x,y)-->(x+2,y-5). What are the coordiniates of point M?
Could someone solve this for me and tell what the answer is and why?

Heyy ~ I'm Tina
I'm learning stuff at about GCSE - A level standard, and I'm currently working on trying to add/subtract numbers faster mentally and the binomial theorem as well as factorisation problems, freakishly hard, etc. yeah, so if anyone has any suggestions or tips on simplifying square rooted numbers inside of square rooted numbers and factorising square roots, I'd be happy to know -- I'm in year 8 (I know, I know) and I'm going to take the IMC from the UKMT challenges next year so if anyone has any tips on that then great.
