Is there an easier way than what i started out doing? I notice in Algebra 1's get subtracted out of no where and I wondered why.

Hello Bobbym. I am here with many problems.
I wish I could understand Algebra better.
9(3x + 9) + (x+ 3) = 14
I know you use the distributive property. 9 x 3 and then 9 x 9. Not sure about the second in parenthesis. x is 1 right? If so that is 1 + 3 or 1 x 3. I know something has to be subtracted from both sides. That is about it for this one and what I don't know.

I made that c in algebra pathetically. I used examples and just went by them. Did not understand it at all.

Speaking of being hit with a towel, Algebra did that to me last semester. Do any of you know anything about Algebra? I have a lot of homework.
