Hi,

Initially Each 5 fruit contains 3Mac and 2 Cortland
After sold the 50 -fruits,he got $20 revenue.

Now

Mac count s = 0
Cortland count is =10

If he sold 2 cortland per $1 then  he will get $5 Revenue then total revenue is $25.

But still he is selling set of 5 fruits (5 cortlands for $2 dollar). Instead of selling 4 cortland for $2 ,he s selling 5 cortland for $2 so he losing revenue of $2when he sold last 2 set of 5 fruits.
