Why is the equation of the circle different from what I got when I expanded (x – h)^2 + (y – k)^2 = r^2?
In the positive case, where does the "less than or equal" to 1 come from?
I'm kind of confused about the conjugate part...
So...I finished everything up to part c. I can find $\cos 72$ by using triangle BCD, by splitting it in half, but how do I find $\cos 36$?
