put b= an, c= an^2

1/a^3+1/an+1/an^2... similarly...

Finally it would come as 1/a=3/4

Hello,

Matrix subtraction is a legal operation but the elements needs to be same in both the matrix. for eg a @*2 matrix can be substracted only from 2*2 matrix and not 3*3 matrix.

Truth Table may seem a bit confusing in beginning but once you understand the concept of "0" and "1" things will become really easy. Just remember these set of rules and truth table will be one of the easiest subject to deal with.

#4 Re: Formulas » Tests For Divisibility » 2012-08-29 00:58:32

We also have a divisibility test for 6 and 9.
For a number to be divisible by 6, it should be divisible by both 2 and 3.

Example:
like 18 is divisible by both 3 and 2 so it is divisible by 6.
For a number to be divisible by 9, its sum of digits must be equal to 9.

Example:

like 18 , here sum of the digit is 1 + 8 = 9, so it is divisible.

I just love playing with numbers . Basically series, its is so amazing that every number series has a solution to it. Just think carefully  and it will be solved.

Hello Everybody,

Thanks for helping me out, but I think I will have research a bit more to know about all these calculations.

Hello,

I cannot understand how are you getting these results. Please elaborate.

Thanks

Hello,

As far as I know and what my experience say is that you should keep practicing mathematics to make the subject simpler. With practice you will learn some techniques and even your speed of calculation will improve. Practice means continuous practice, you cannot solve one problem then go for a walk and then come back after an hour that will be a really time taking and tough process. Make a time table and try to solve as many problems a s possible in that time.I assure you you will definitely start solving sums at a much higher speed.

Thanks.

Thank you all for welcoming me.
Maths is a subject that needs practice but if you take it as a burden, you will never come out of the fear of numbers. Just make sure that you practice maths daily but too much of practice will also not be a good thing

All the best smile

Hello Everybody,

I am new to this forum. As a kid I had maths phobia but with practice and time my phobia came to end. All I did was practice.

Thanks
