20% of the number is 8

1% of the number is 8/20

100% of the number is (8/20)*100 = 40

see the definition of a periodic function is as below:

A function f(x) is periodic if f(x)=f(x+t) so that t is the period of the function f(x). Now the period of sin(x) and cos(x) can be determined by using the ASTC rule, where A means all, S means Sin, T means Tan and C means Cot positive in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th quadrants. Accordingly the periods of Sin(x) and Cos(x) are 2(pi).

In the question 1) just put the value of x in the dividend to find the remainder

e.g if you are deviding the polynomial by x+1 then just make x+1=0 so that x=-1 and put the value of x i.e. -1 in place of x in the polynomial and the resulting number would be the remainder.

To find the quotient one may divide the polynomial by the given linear polynomial or may follow the principle of factorisation.

To find the values of a and b one has to follow the factorization by using the remainder theorem as well as the factorization theorem.

To find the GCD one has to factorise the polynomials and then find the common terms.

To find the LCM one has to first factorise the terms and then take the common terms and also the other terms which are not common and multiply to get the LCM.

Hi, I think you may use the conservation of linear momentum to approach the problem so that you can find out the final velocities of the bodies A and B after collision as you have the initial velocities of A as u and that of B is 0.

This would help you to further solve the problem easily. I hope this works
