They do these competitions every couple of days and they never explain how they get their answer the way they see it if they explain it would not be as much fun and everyone would know the answer.I used  roman numerals and the highest i could get was 6699.So they could use anything to get to their answer.

#3 Re: Puzzles and Games » Puzzle » 2006-02-26 12:59:42

The puzzle just ended the answer was 7894.

#4 Re: Puzzles and Games » Puzzle » 2006-02-24 01:32:45

This comp is still going as no one can solve it,can anyone please come up with a number different than 6699.The prize money is going up too.

#5 Re: Puzzles and Games » Puzzle » 2006-02-19 12:57:21

Does anyone have any ideas what the total would be.

#6 Re: Puzzles and Games » Puzzle » 2006-02-16 12:26:36

Will you send me an example by email .Thanks

#9 Re: Puzzles and Games » Puzzle » 2006-02-14 12:29:08

Hi the answer turned out to be 10,864.These puzzles are doing my head in .They have just started a new one.

NINETY DIVIDED BY
FIVE MULTIPLIED BY
TEN MINUS TWELVE

ADD ALL THE NUMBERS

I think they do these because nobody can figure out how they get their answer so they never have to give the prize away.:(

#10 Re: Puzzles and Games » Puzzle » 2006-02-09 12:49:53

They are puzzles on a quiz show .
I tryed 213 because my phone keypad only goes up to 9 and someone said 214 and that was wrong.
I keep thinking they are changing the letters to Roman Numerals and then adding every single number they find.
But if someone can help me solve this with the correct answer and i win i will be happy to share some of the prize.

ONE PLUS FIVE MINUS
SIX PLUS TWENTY TWO
DIVIDED BY TWO

ADD ALL THE NUMBERS

I have had one of these before but could not do it either.
I know it's not 11.
I think there is roman numerals and they might even class the L's as upside down 7's and the S's as 5's.But you need the total number
This is a competition
if someone can give me the correct answer  and i win i shall share some of the prize.

HE HAS STARRED IN 30 FILMS,
                                               INCLUDING THE FIRM, COKTAIL,
                                               AND COLLATERAL
