You are welcome, post if you need more.
Ok, i see that i should've have added the 3 - 11. Thank you so much! Have a great morning!
Ok, if you had to change 4x+11=6x-3 into a linear inequality how would you do it, and how would you solve it?
Good morning bobbym. Would i solve it like this
Post #25 does that for all 4 possibilities.
No, i just need to change my 1-variable linear equation to a linear inequality using < or >.
So i would solve the linear inequality problem the same way i solve the linear equation, but replace the equal sign with < or >
4x+11<6x-3 or 4x+11>6x-3 or 4x+11≤ 6x-3 or 4x+11 ≥ 6x-3
I need to turn this linear equation 4x+11=6x-3 into a linear inequality.
ok, so how would you solve the equation using < or >.
Why couldn't you just replace the = with a < or a >?
