Percentage reduction is (Old amount - New amount) ÷ Old Amount x 100%

In your example, the new amount is 2 and the old amount is 10, so the percentage reduction would be (10 - 2) ÷ 10 x 100% = 80%.

Okay im not sure what this term means..

issit:

Assuming original cost = 10
Reduced Cost = 2
Amt reduced = 8

2. 2/10
