hi Deon588 will do nicely. so you have x = 2 + 3t y = 4 - 4t and z = -1 + 8t Don't ignore the z component ... rather make it equal to zero 0 = -1 +8t solve for t That fixes the value of t and so you can put back into the x and y equations to get the point as three numbers. Bob
