Hey, I've started a new school and won't be posting here anymore. Thanks for all the help.

Why not? You will be taking math there won't you? Everyone needs help now and then.

That is correct now clean that up a little by just getting rid of those one's.

Just remember the rule 7 * 1 = 7, 11*1 = 11, anything * 1 = anything.

Hi SlowlyFading;

That is very good and now for one more thing.

Anything over one is itself.  3 / 1 = 3, x^2 / 1 = x^2 so simplify this one,

That is correct. Anything times by one remains the same.

So replace the x^2 * 1 by x^2. Do that now.

It's just x^2 I think.

Hi;

That is not correct.

Start with the first one

x^2 * 1 is equal to what?

SlowlyFading

?

Hi;

That is very good but still not simplified enough. Use the rule about when a number is multiplied or divided by 1.
