I guess so. Apparently it's just the first week without lectures where you just go out and meet people, go to icebreaker events, and of course there are many stories involving alcohol and partying and copious amounts of intercourse.

I spend a great deal of time indoors too but not by choice. The townspeople hate and fear me and wish to set me on fire.

I thought the same when going into sixth form and it didn't really make much difference...
Although H did end up liking me, but the only way I found out was because she found my e-mail and started sending eleventy-billion messages. I will probably not be in such a favourable situation for a long time, possibly not ever again.

They change from hour to hour and what they think is really not that important.
You would have to move out of the groups you are in to have immediate results. If you do not then you will have to wait until you are older.
