That is an interesting analogy.

Okay, see you later.

Lots of it is the same. There are more chances, more options. It is sort of like a multiple choice test that went from 4 answers per question to 5. The guessers are going to score lower.

I am going to have to go offline. Need to shop for food, see you later or tomorrow,

Yep, life sure is different now.

There is more pressure and less support for people now. They have abandoned their families, their traditions and now even their education.

Yes -- and as a result, teenagers/people (in general) seem to have more insecurities than ever.

Tomorrow will mark 6 weeks of being Adriana-free.

Yes, grandpappym dragged his entire family from the country life to NYC. The cohesion of the family unit was destroyed and a similar thing happened to all of the people here.

Now kids here never see their parents. They learn about things from rappers and celebrities. Many of them lose their way and end up badly.

That was how it used to be, and to some extent it is a bit like that in my country, but in somewhere like London, it is quite different.

True, but the children are expected to help her at all times. The man is busy plowing the field and fighting off predators. Back then the family was a tight unit. They often lived by themselves on a pretty large piece of land. Neighbors were far away. Everyone had a job and they did it or they did not survive.

It's the same in my (country's) culture too. Although they can't be relied upon all the time.

I had to learn. In my culture the men do not do that kind of work. That is a woman's job.

Oh, I see. So did you already know how to cook, clean etc. or did you have to learn?

For a change of life. Moved from the dead end of NYC to Vegas. Got on the bus just me and my cousin and 3 days later we were in LA. There I picked up my fathers car and drove to Vegas.

For job purposes?

I was 24 years old and had to move out of state.
