And then if someone added to that sticky, it would pop up again. Anyway, "sticky"s are sort of a kludge or temporary fix to get a public message across. Basically there are two reasons I dislike sticky's: 1. At a glance, they make the forum look old, due to the older date on the sticky. 2. I waste precious time skimming past the sticky note over and over. As for solutions that are glamorous, I can't think of any because putting the sticky in the section it belongs to is an excellent way to keep newbies informed about things. However, whatabout if the sticky was not quite as sticky, and it fell downward into history each day, but at midnight, it becomes the newest topic again. Then it's not always the topmost note.
