The better ones give higher speed to your site, more "up-time" and better service.
I can't recommend any, because the one I used to use was bad, and the present one is good but is very expensive (overkill for your needs).
But you should get an acceptable host for less than $10/month. Google "web host review" and you will be astounded at how competitive it is.

]]>For example, if I said something like Best site ever enough times, then Google would put this site as a result for Best site ever, even though it never claims it is. Well, apart from that I've just said it here. But if I had put that somewhere else on the internet then it would achieve the same effect.
A fairly famous example of someone exploiting this can be seen if you search Google for 'liar'.
Edit: Oh, no it can't. They must have fixed it. Well, beforehand, the top result used to be Tony Blair's homepage.
It points at a page, and the words used help Google understand what you think the page is about.
