]]>I am Dipak Kambale from India. The next thing about me is I love mathematics. I keep on reading books of very famous authors such as HSM Coexter, Euclid's elements, E.T. Bell, Ian etc... I was searching on net for complex numbers and I found this site. The explanation given was quit excellent. I liked it and then become member for this forum.

It is good that you have taken the initiative to learn mathematics.
Don't worry too much about those school grades - they are not a good indicator of your aptitude for mathematics.
You are correct that you need a lot of mathematics (and physics) for developing games. Some time back we were working on a rather complicated game and you couldn't imagine how much mathematics we had to learn (despite us already being math majors) to make a successful game. Of course, it depends on which type of game you are developing.

Do not worry about school grades. If you have the will, you will improve soon.

I did horribly at school in maths, I think I got a D or an E for my GCSE maths exam
Never mind, you can acquire math skills any time.
Best wishes.

I've joined the forum because I'd like to greatly improve my Maths skills.
I did horribly at school in maths, I think I got a D or an E for my GCSE maths exam.
I'm now interested in designing and developing games and I've started reading material that includes things like Transformation Matrices, which is my main reason for wanting to get a lot better at Maths.
Hoping to make some friends to of course
