]]>The way they replicate is they attack a living cell and take over all its mechanisms. Then it "forces" the cell to make more viruses instead of creating more living cells. When they leave the cell, the cell is dead.
I also remember there being two cycles in the virus reproduction, one being what I already said. The other is, if I remember correctly, some sort of stasis. The virus enters a cell but doesn't replicate until there are favorable conditions to do so.
Also, people commonly confuse viruses and bacteria. The difference when trying to get rid of them is that antibiotics will work on bacteria, but not on a virus, because it is not exactly a living organism. What you can do is leave it to the immune system and try to strengthen your immune system by eating fruits with vitamin C, or get some drugs that inctease the level of immunity etc.

A computer virus, infects computers. It does not infect living organisms.
