I do not know if I have interpreted the problem correctly. It to me is similar to a Polya problem.

OK line one divides into two regions.
Line two crosses line one so that you've got four regions.
So the trick now is to make the third line only cut one of these regions in two.
Hint: Put a dot where each line crosses out of the court.
