The only reason why I got a B in English, is the fact I didn't do my coursework. Well I did, but I did the bare minimum.
]]>No, I would of failed Geography.
No, you would have failed English. But I can speak. I can't even spell Beryllium.
]]>But would a native spanish speaker call a website "Matemáticas Son Divertidas" ? There would probably be a punchier way to get the idea across.
I am pretty sure that if I auto-translated the site I would get lots of spanish-speaking visitors - they would be coming to have a good laugh
]]>Why don't we start a MathsIsFun page for other languages? LOL. I wonder what languages we could have.
Spanish would be my first choice, because there are lots of students in South America (and Spain and North America) who know spanish better than english. Wouldn't it be great to help them out in their own language? Just a dream.
I tried an automatic translation of the front page, and the simple text "Contact Us", became "Contacte Eeuu" which is spanish for "Contact the United States". If that is one example, I wonder what the rest would be like!
(BTW "Maths Is Fun" becomes "Matemáticas Es Divertida", bit of a long name)
