Many posts ago I said I don't think there is one 'right' answer. The pupil is just expected to think about common features and come up with some rules that classify the shapes into sets. The worksheet has changed over the years as well, so the post 22 answer may no longer work.
Describe your shapes and I'll give my opinion (I have never seen the worksheet either). It probably breaks copyright so obviously I'm not suggesting that someone scan it and post it here.

I can not say. I have never seen the sheet they are talking about.
What is important is that the answers given right or wrong can provide useful clues as to what the correct answer is. I am sure that you have had the experience of being told something and then knowing it was correct.
Do you like the answers given? Do they have the ring of truth to them? Sometimes a wrong answer is more valuable than a right one.
